Question 1

How much does a Maldives holiday cost?

Accepted Answer

A 5-night stay at a hand-picked 4–5 star resort typically starts from a few hundred dollars per night including breakfast, with all-inclusive and overwater villa packages above that. Contracted rates mean quotes are frequently below public online prices, and every quote is free.

Question 2

How do I get to the Maldives from Australia?

Accepted Answer

Fly into Malé (Velana International Airport) with one-stop connections via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo or Doha. From Malé, resort transfers are by speedboat or seaplane and are arranged as part of your package.

Question 3

Should I choose an overwater villa or a beach villa?

Accepted Answer

Overwater villas are the icon of the Maldives — step off your deck straight into the lagoon. Beach villas offer more space, direct sand access and are usually better value, which makes them ideal for families. Many guests split their stay and enjoy both.

Question 4

Is all-inclusive worth it in the Maldives?

Accepted Answer

Often yes. Resort islands have no outside restaurants, so dining and drinks are all on-island. All-inclusive plans lock in costs upfront and usually include premium drinks, snorkelling gear and some excursions.

Question 5

Why book through an agency instead of online?

Accepted Answer

Agencies negotiate exclusive rates and added-value offers — free nights, complimentary half board, honeymoon bonuses — directly with each resort. A real person checks live availability, secures the best current promotion and provides 24/7 support, with no booking fees.
